Robin Phillips

 

Robin Phillips is an attorney at Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch.  His primary area of practice is intellectual property litigation (patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets).  Mr. Phillips also handles general commercial disputes, such as breach of contract and fraud matters.  Prior to joining Procopio, Mr. Phillips was with McDermott Will & Emery, where he focused on patent litigation. He also specially volunteered for six months as a prosecutor for the San Diego District Attorney’s Office, where he tried cases, conducted preliminary hearings and argued motions.

 

Mr. Phillips has been named in The Daily Transcript’s Young Attorneys.  For his pro bono work, Mr. Phillips has received the California State Bar's Wiley W. Manuel Award, as well as the San Diego Legal Aid Society’s Outstanding Service Award.

 

Mr. Phillips has argued before the Ninth Circuit and the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals.

 

In addition to his law degree, Mr. Phillips holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science.
